Cycling is one of those sports that concentrates on your entire body that after one ride across town, you feel more fit than ever. Here in the GCC, cycling is not really considered a favorite, even among sport lovers, until now.

Kuwait's Othman Al Mutairi, UAE's Abdulghaffar Al-Khaja, KSA's Abdulaziz Al-Hammad  and Qatar's Mohamed Al-Kuwari will all be participating in the tour for cyclists in Yorkshire. Makshoof film makers will be sending the cyclists to the UK tour which is arranged by the British Governments tourist organization, Visit Britian. The cyclists will be taking on Route 1 of the Tour De France starting from Leeds and finishing in the lovely town of Harrogate.

The whole event will be filmed and interviews with each cyclist will be available at www.dunestodales.com. There's also a competition where people can participate in and win a trip to the UK for two plus accommodation! All you have to do is to vote to where cyclists will travel to and enter the draw! Visit the link here to vote.

The purpose of this event is to show the Arab Gulf countries how healthy cycling can be and how popular it has grown within the region.
