Fintas: a residential area within Al-Ahmadi Governorate, the area had a water well where people used to store water in a big wooden tank in order to move it to the ships.
الفنطاس: منطقة الفنطاس منطقة سكنية تقع في محافظة الأحمدي، سميت كذلك نسبةً لآبار المياه العذبة التي كانت تخزن في خزان خشبي كبير إستعداداً لنقلها إلى السفن
Al-Shamiya: A residential area within Al-Asema Governorate, the area had a well with water so fresh, that it was likened to water from the west of middle east, or because merchants used to gather there to drink from the pure water wells then travel to the west of middle east.
الشاميه: منطقة سكنية تقع في محافظة العاصمة، سميت كذلك نسبةً لآبار المياه العذبة فمن شرب من ماء الشام، أو قد تمت تسميتها بهذا الاسم لإنها كانت في طريق القوافل
الذاهب إلى الشام، وكان التجار يتجمعون فيها ليشربوا من آبارها
Al-Khaldeya: Residential area within Al-Asema Governorate. Khaldeya was named after the first person who lived in the area Shaikh Khaled Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
الخالديه: منطقة سكنية تقع في في العاصمة، سميت بهذا الاسم نسبة إلى الشيخ خالد العبد الله السالم الصباح، أول من سكنها وبني لنفسه و قصراً ومزرعة خاصه
Kheiran: A coastal area within Al-Ahmadi Governorate. Kheiran is plural of Khor. Kheiran area consists of a number of khors: AlMofatah, Al-Amay, Abu Askandar, and Al-Nahem.
الخيران: منطقة ساحلية تقع في محافظة الأحمدي، الخيران هي جمع لكلمة خور وتضم الخيران مجموعة من الأخوار منهم: المفتح، العمي، أبو اسكندر والنهم
Keifan: A residential area within Al-Asema Governorate. It was popular for it's pure water well, and whoever drinks from the well will be pleased with it's good taste.
كيفان: منطقة سكنية تقع في محافظة العاصمة، كيفان مفردها كيف أي سعد. سميت كذلك نسبةً للمياه العذبة التي كانت متواجدة فيها ومن شرب من مائها سعد
