Movies are always something to anticipate especially if they feature A-list Hollywood actors or if they're sequels or additions to a continuing series. This is a list of upcoming summer movies which you cannot miss! The new Fast and Furious film? A Superman flick which features the hero himself in chains? Or how about a group of guys who always seem drunk and cannot find their friend? Here's our list of top 10 upcoming summer blockbusters!

The Great Gatsby

Hopefully this film will finally get DiCaprio that Oscar. This film talks about the life of Jay Gatsby, a young millionaire with connections who falls for Daisy Buchanan (Carey Mulligan). Tobey Maguire also stars as Nick Carraway, a Yale graduate and war veteran.

Star Trek: Into The Darkness

Nerds, geeks and 'trekkies', gather around. This one's for you. The sequel to the ultimate film is here starring Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto as the famous 'Kirk & Spock' and if you're wearing a t-shirt with the periodic table and play World of Warcraft, then this will complete you.

Fast & Furious 6

Personally, I wouldn't mind if they continued till Fast & Furious 437. This franchise is not only successful, but delivers action scenes from minute one to the closing credits. Vin Diesel, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Paul Walker, and the introduction of the 'Transporter' himself, Jason Statham. Driving fast cars and facing a gang like no other, this film is going to be epic.

Hangover III

After a failure with the second film, people were surprised why director Todd Philips decided on making it into a trilogy. Phil, Alan, Doug and Stu are back at it yet again but this time, there's no way someone can get lost but with Melissa McCarthy (Identity Thief) and Jeffery Tambor (Arrested Development) added into the cast list, you can expect anything.

Epic

The cast is epic, the movie itself is epic and did I mention the cast is epic? Jason Sudeikis, Steve Tyler, Amanda Seyfried, Pitbull, Beyoncé, Josh Hutcherson, Colin Farrell, Aziz Ansari, Christoph Waltz, Chris O'Dowd and the list goes on and on. Oh and the movie is an animation but who cares? Look at the cast!

After Earth

This may be the best father/son partnership in Hollywood. Jaden and Will Smith. After working together on The Pursuit of Happiness, the Smiths' decided to go at it again in After Earth, a sci-fi thriller about a father and son who are stranded on Earth after a crash. Isabelle Fuhrman also stars.

Man of Steel

Arguably the most anticipated movie of the summer. Superman has been and always will be a childhood favorite hero and since 1978, The Last Son of Krypton has been portrayed so well and this June, Man of Steel will be one of the most incredible films by DC Comics.

White House Down

A nominee for action movie of the year? Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx star as officer John Cale and President James Sawyer respectively in this movie about saving the president, his family and the White House. Doesn't it remind you of a recent Gerard Butler movie?

Grown Ups 2

The four boys are back in this sequel to God knows what. Four big names in comedy, Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock and David Spade, alongside the gorgeous Salma Hayek and the funny Maya Rudolph. Just watch the trailer and try not to laugh so hard that your insides blow up.

The Wolverine

Your favorite X-Men character? Thought so. This time, Hugh Jackman's daunting character is in Japan, where he faces his past in this blockbuster addition to the fantastic Marvel film franchise.
