Middle East Film & Comic Con activities-02

An exciting programme of creative workshops, powered by twofour54, will be staged at the new ‘Creative Campus’ at this year’s Middle East FILM & COMIC CON, the first and largest popular culture festival in the region.  Open to all, twofour54 ‘Creative Campus’ is central to this year’s event, offering engaging and interactive sessions to help aspiring young animators, game developers or movie-makers meet international experts and learn practical new skills.

Themes of the sessions include cinematography, the game development industry and special effects for movie-makers, and are jointly hosted by: the SAE Institute, which offers practical creative vocational and higher education; twofour54’s Cartoon Network Animation Academy, twofour54’s Gaming Academy in partnership with Ubisoft; and twofour54 creative lab, an initiative to identify, nurture and guide young Arab creatives who are looking to jumpstart their media career.

The line-up of speakers features Dino Athanassiou, Director of Animation at Stardust Pictures, who has just finished directing the CG Animation on Lionsgate's new live action adventure film "The Hunger Games". The packed schedule also offers an open, twofour54 creative lab ‘Pitch-a-thon’, with an Arabic theme, allowing attendees to compete for support to bring their artistic talents to life.

The twofour54 ‘Creative Campus’ workshops will take place at tge Middle East FILM & COMIC CON 2013 from the 5th-6th of April 2013 at the Dubai International Marine Club at Mina Seyahi Dubai, UAE.

All workshops are free of charge, first come first serve basis, but entrance to the Middle East FILM & COMIC CON 2013 requires tickets.More information about the 'Creative Campus' by twofour54, can be found on the  Middle East FILM & COMIC CON 2013 website.
