The Dubai Confidential Film Club is creating a buzz within the movie buffs of the city! Formed just a few months ago the club has already hosted multiple events. Earlier this week they held a screening of the Academy Award winning 1980’s classic ‘Out of Africa’ starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. The movie is a favorite with men and women given its theme of love, adventure, heartache and happiness.
The event was held at The Pavilion in Burj Dubai and followed by a lovely outdoor high tea catered by the Palace Hotel and set up in the garden. Everyone enjoyed a variety of sandwiches, cakes and other bite-sized sweet and savory treats. L’occitaine, a luxurious French brand known for their skincare range also gave each guest goodie bags full of their products including Shea Butter that is from Africa.
