The Football Academy (TFA), Dubai – UAE, recently returned from their first international tournament, the Gothia Cup in Sweden. The team, which was sponsored by Listaproperty, prepared for the competition with their passionate coach, Ali Al-Jishi. The tournament is often referred to as ‘The Youth World Cup’ due to its increasing numbers of both football teams – currently, 80 nations are represented – as well as viewers. The tournament gave the TFA team and coach Al-Jishi the opportunity to play football at a higher level against international teams.
The TFA team did not reach the finals, but gained valuable experience from the tournament, enhancing their skills, strategies, determination, and passion for the beautiful game. The team is now looking forward to competing internationally again later this year, in Orlando, with intensive training routines to prepare them for their opponents.
