The Mappings Project, that is executed by talented artist Roberto Lopardo, showcases artwork in a different way. The way this project is carried out is that one photograph is taken every minute continuously during a 24-hour period. It is presented as a monolithic light-box that is ordered in 24 rows, one hour per row. The artist does not follow a certain path, he takes pictures randomly and naturally.

Lopardo, who carries a Master of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design, a teaching certificate from Brown University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Philosophy from Whitman College, has exhibited his works in multiple prominent venues.

Mappings Kuwait began at sunrise at 5:21 on the 16th of April 2012and started in Kuwait Towers. The exhibition will take place on the 16th of September at Sultan Gallery in Kuwait. The 2 artworks that will be exhibited are 'Mapping Kuwait' and 'Mapping Latitude 42 Longitude 121’.
