Us car enthusiasts are always on the edge of our seats when we hear the word 'auto-show'. Most of us  just add the car debutants to our list of "cars I want to buy when I become a millionaire at 50" when really we reach the latter way before we start having deep pockets. A car I'd at to my own list is the new Porsche 911 Targa and I never thought I'd be adding a Porsche to my list because they're just all the same. When Porsche say they've added something new to their latest creation, they mean 50 horsepower and stunning rims. Not enough to create a new car in my opinion but this one may have just the elements to make it to all of our 'millionaire at 50' lists.

Exhibit A, the exterior. The new-generation Targa made its debut at the 2014 Detroit Motor Show and just like me, so many were surprised because for the very first time, the engineers and designers at Porsche have finally put it in that extra effort in making a car that takes it from being a motor with four wheels with a hectic price-tag to being a motor with four wheels with a price-tag that's actually worth it. The convertible part of the Targa is just that extra effort. Take a look below.

The interior isn't as spectacular but since the 911 started selling in 1963, the interior has basically been the same give or take a few buttons on the mid-console.  Still though, the 911 Targa is absolutely stunning. A 350-hp engine for the standard version and 50 more for the S version. With a price tag of a little over $100,000, I think it's the most affordable Porsche on the market.
