A dramatic installation of 5,000 paper windmills spinning in the breeze, The Wind Portal by Lebanese designer Najla El Zein is a stunning distraction. Currently placed in the V&A, the whimsical 26-foot-tall gateway draws wind and light into the galleries beyond it. Produced as part of London Design Festival 2013, the installation will be displayed until November 3, 2013.
