Brought to you buy the organizers of Art Dubai and Design Days Dubai, Downtown Design is a new 4-day trade fair in Downtown Dubai. A selected number of international brands will have the chance to showcase their products in the show and what better location than the world's tallest building?
At the base of the beautiful Burj Khalifa in a custom-built area The Venue, Downtown Design is the first design fair of its kind in the region. Architects, real estate developers, interior designers, and designers from North Africa and the Middle East will be present at the event showing contemporary design in furniture, lighting, accessories, flooring, new technologies, and other forms of design.
Downtown Design director Cristina Romelli Gervasoni spoke about art scene in Dubai and what to expect at the event. "With the significant developments and initiatives being made to support Dubai’s burgeoning art and design scene together with the Emirate’s ever-growing real estate and construction industry, Downtown Design is set to become a leading platform for international brands to showcase their products in a rapidly growing market. The industry professional event will also play a key role in establishing the Emirate’s reputation as a global destination for design; complementing the international calendar of design events in other global cities including London, New York, Milan, Paris, Basel, Cologne and Miami.”
The four-day event will open to the public from 6pm to 8pm from 29th to the 31st of October and 12pm-6pm on the 1st of November.
