This past week has brought me so many headaches and it's not just because of the tanning I did before Ramadan. It's because of all the hair, wedding/marriage, and 'hijab' talk throughout the week that had me wanting to jump out of the window. "When was the last time you cut your hair?" "Have you ever thought about wearing a hijab?" "When is the ideal age for marriage?" All these questions take hours and hours to answer and what happened? They tried answering each one of them – and more – and even after I got a headache the size of the Texas, the questions remain unanswered…

Good afternoon, my pebbles! Quick updates: the magazine is out and we're already working on the next issue, but during the week, I was absolutely bombarded with girl talk! I do thank Plus G for the chocolate and F2 for the Arabic coffee but that was probably a way of apologizing for the migraine. The best two things one can cure a migraine with are chocolate and coffee, right?

So there's a new intern in the office, Fantasia. She seems like a hard worker, quiet, but then we all were those two things until we 'settled in' more. She also is quite the 'Belieber' so hopefully it's just a phase. Hmmm… what else? She has good taste in TV shows so that would serve well. Welcome to the family, Fantasia.

More interns have arrived, and more outnumbered I am becoming. Lilly finished her internship and it was a pleasure having someone like Lilly. There's a new intern on the way and I already had help with the nickname so there won't be an issue with that.

So it's officially Ramadan, so Ramadan Mubarak to all the Muslims out there and good luck with the coffee-less mornings, messed up sleeping patterns, and finding a TV show that doesn't involve divorce and grand theft. One thing I'm really worried about is the sound of my stomach growling. It even scares me sometimes and with the month of Ramadan, it's going to be volcano day, every day.

After the issue is finally done, printed, and Instagram-ed over and over, it's back to making the next issue even better. The problem is coffee was our kickstart to the day and with Ramadan, I don't know how we're going to do it. We have our suhoor as our kickstarter, so hopefully what we eat then will stay in our systems energizing us till the next meal.

On a final note, guys, I need your help. Girl talk is happening too much these days in the office and I need advice: Should I join in and try to act interested about hair, makeup, and the latest in Bradley Cooper's life? Or should I try and change the subject and talk about sports, cars, and why Fast and Furious 6 is one of the greatest films ever made? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So Ramadan Mubarak to you all, hopefully Ramadan passes by quickly with no fainting accidents, hunger pangs', and endless traffic. Enjoy not having coffee and being thirsty half the day!

Peace out!
