Man OutnumberedDid you know that dolphins sleep with one eye open? Did you also know that you'll eat about 35,000 cookies in your lifetime? How about the fact that the average person speaks only 10 minutes a day? No average people here.

Good morning, my sunflower seeds, and welcome to the 20th edition of Man Outnumbered. Imagine this was an event celebrating the joyous occasion, with music playing in the background and delicious catering everywhere. Now go back to reading my column.

This week has been slightly different from others. Well first, the coffee still tastes 9,000 years old, the weather is extremely NOT cold and oh yeah, it was only me and Captain at the office – until today. Why you ask? Well let me tell you. Critic and Braces are MIA, F2 and Sticker are on a trip to Oman, X-Grande Latte is busy taking care of her sick baby (her cat), and we're still waiting on Turban's next surprise visit. So it was only me and Captain during the first couple of days. It was kind of good actually. No fighting, no suicide attempts, no awkward silence (yeah, right) but I always enjoy Captain's presence. Here's to you, Captain!

Another diva who hardly shows up, but always makes her presence felt whenever she does, is Princess. When Princess is at the office, all phones are down, all eyes are on laptops, and backs are straight. I'm pushing it a little, aren't I? But imagine if The Rock entered the office, what would you do? I'm kidding. Princess is not The Rock, she's more like Michelle Obama. You get the point.

In every office, there's always a weird sound you hear, whether it’s the air-conditioning, birds tweeting, or anything of that sorts. What we hear at the office are the strangest ringtones you will ever hear – courtesy of our noisy neighbours. There's a Harry Potter type ringtone, an Egyptian song for a ringtone (really!), and what really confuses us is an airport announcement ringtone that sounds like that chime sound whenever they announce flight details at the airport. You know which sound I'm talking about, right? This?

What really made this week even more unusual is the style session I had. I was properly dressed by the fancy store Sacoor Brothers in 360 Mall and what an experience it was. I was styled two ways: a classic look with a grey suit and red tie and a casual look with pistachio colored pants (BAM!) and a blazer. Yes, I did wear shirts under the jackets. I also got orange shoes that look as flashy as my red pants. You'll be seeing them on Instagram once they're finished being altered. I didn't know I was such a good poser. Watch out, David Beckham.

Now this is a warning to all of you coffee lovers out there. When you have a cup of coffee on your desk, make sure there are no wires hanging around, as this could result in the spilling of the coffee on yourself, your phones, your laptops etc. This happened to a certain diva in the office but no names will be given.

Finally, I guess we can admit that summer is here. That means shorts, flip-flops, tanning, travelling, Ramadan (yay?), graduations, and everything else people do in the summer. What's everybody doing this season? Football season is over so that's a bummer, and I'm kind of happy it's over cause it was a trophy-less season for my team. As they say, there's always next year.

Take care, my vanilla covered pistachios, and enjoy the weekend!
