Ever since the birth of the McLaren F1 in 1998, the British supercar maker has always been high on the list of the fastest (and most pricy) supercars in the world and after a 13 year absence, the MP4-12C was produced but during that long wait, other supercar makers have designed cars that have overshadowed McLaren. The Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago, the 458 Italia from Ferrari, the Mercedes SLS, the remake of the Aston Martin DB9, DBS, Vantage & Vanquish and the almighty Bugatti Veyron. Even though McLaren didn't go back to sleep for 13 years, they were still nowhere to be seen.
Until now.
Introducing the P1, small in name, big in performance. The British supercar maker will unveil this 903 bhp beast that will go from 0-100 in less than 3 seconds in the 2013 Geneva Motor Show from March 7th – 17th.
With a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, the P1 will shatter almost any other supercar in its way. What's more incredible is that this monster is 5 whole seconds faster than the mighty F1. With only 375 P1's in production, you better save up that money hidden in your sock drawer for a whole lot longer.
The care looks absolutely stunning both inside and out and there are photos to prove it.
