BlackBerry has frankly been out of the picture in the world of communication with the revolution of the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy. BlackBerry has gone from a business phone to the world's chatting device to a malfunctioning smartphone in your bedroom drawer. However, they are back and this time with a phone, that may actually compete well in a three-way tug of war with Apple and Samsung.

The BlackBerry 10's are similar to the iPhone and Galaxy with many apps available (more than 70,000 all on BlackBerry World), something that was missing in the previous BlackBerry devices. The BlackBerry Messenger app will have an all new voice and video chat function as well as both a touch and physical keyboard. The "Time Shift" app is something different from all smartphones. It enables the camera to take multiple pictures for you to choose the best from.

BlackBerry have released two new phones, the Q10 and Z10. The Q10 features an 8-megapixel camera at the back with a front camera as well. With a glass body to reduce weight, the Q10 is the successor of the Bold having the same classic shape but what's different? There are both a touch-screen and physical keyboard. Stainless steel and more strength is what the Q10 is also about.

The Z10 is "the most beautiful BlackBerry made" according to BlackBerry officials and we couldn't agree more! The exterior is as stunning as the features inside. Available in black and white (remind you of another smartphone?), the Z10 offers many new apps including games, lifestyle, social, productivity and many more.

"It's a change in smartphone experience — the dominant paradigm, introduced six years ago, was great and revolutionary at the time," BlackBerry's Chief Marketing Officer Frank Boulben told ABC News "but six years is a long time for a technology cycle, with a new user experience with a clear focus we have the opportunity to take market share back."
