Angry Birds, one of the world's top entertainment smartphone apps, will now be available to be played on Samsung's Smart TV. It will be the first time Angry Birds will be played on a TV screen.
Developed by Finnish entertainment media company Rovio Entertainment, Angry Birds has been downloaded more than 1 billion times since its launch in 2009. Since then, the game has also launched a number of versions, celebrating seasons and holidays, on a number of platforms.
Angry Birds can now be played on large TV screens using Samsung’s Motion Control technology with just the wave of a hand. The original game features like the slingshot as well as the unique features of each bird will all be available.
The Angry Birds App for Samsung Smart TV will launch globally this month and will be available on Samsung ES7000 and ES8000 series and can be downloaded from the Samsung app TV store.
