As part of its celebration of the Year of Saudi Coffee 2022, the Saudi Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with Starbucks, launched the Starbucks Cup Design Competition with valuable financial prizes worth SAR 50,000 in total.


The competition seeks to enhance the identity of Saudi coffee and engage community members in Year of Saudi Coffee initiatives innovatively and creatively by creating designs and illustrations based on the identity and culture of Saudi coffee. The competition also seeks to foster local talents by highlighting their arts, as Starbucks will use them on a large scale in Saudi Arabia.
