The Hiwaraat Conference Series at Georgetown University Qatar brings together scholars, experts, and the public to address some of our most pressing regional geopolitical issues.
The next Hiwaraat conference takes place on December 9-10 at Msheireb Museums, Doha, under the theme “Global Energy Cultures: How Energy Shapes our Everyday Lives”. Scholars, artists, musicians, writers, and filmmakers will be exploring the topic of "energy and society", highlighting the interactions between diverse cultural practices and energy use.
