The Industrial Issue – #18

Our final print run of the year, The Industrial Issue, marks a different type of celebration of the Khaleej. An element of awe must be encompassed when describing the sheer scale of operations in the Gulf. Our Cover Story featuring Abdulla Al-Zabin, Founder of gaming company Lumba, is just one of many educated young Khaleejis who is opening doors to a new era of industries in the GCC.

Gone are the days of the Middle East’s character being comprised of oil wells and camels, we’ve entered a new period of the Khaleej being introduced on the international stage as technological innovator; a subject explored by Hashim Bahbahani. The region is also being seen as a platform for empowering entrepreneurs, and an enabler for cultural analysis.
