This year, Select is collaborating with Van Cleef & Arpels to create a unique edition of The Maker Issue 2017. Together, they will celebrate the local manifestation of creativity in its various forms. From architecture to photography, and furniture design to applied arts; this special version of The Maker Issue will present and highlight all modes of production in Kuwait through different sections.
Using visuals, text, and illustrations, the six sections will cover a compiled form of all the makers in Kuwait, followed by the different forms of making and finally, a dialogue of shared experiences. The book aims to act as a reference for aspiring makers; individuals that are interested in understanding Kuwait’s production landscape, how it connects, and the stories that build it.
