Under the Patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashed Al-Maktoum, TECOM Group, part of Dubai Holding, and Dubai Creative Clusters Authority announced yesterday the establishment of a new educational institution in Dubai, UAE.

The Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation, DIDI, will develop a curriculum with the support of MIT and Parsons in what is set to be a landmark creative industries institute in the Middle East. DIDI will offer the region's first Bachelor of Design degree with cross concentrations in product design, strategic design management, visual arts, media and fashion design. It will be located in the heart of Dubai Design District, d3, with its first intake of students set to be in Fall 2018.
