Devouring chocolate is a part-time job for all of us at Khaleejesque. Naturally, we were excited to stumble upon Xocolat's Instagram account one day.
With excellent sadu-inspired branding and packaging, we secretly hoped the chocolate would be as impressive. The brand Xocolat was created by Sarah Al Hajji, a Le Cordon Bleu London graduate who produces these handmade creations in her kitchen.
After receiving the bag of goodies, we all took a piece and were instantly transported to different places. Although Xocolat has a variety of flavors, the ones we received were Arabic Coffee and Pistachio, Caramel and Black Sea Salt, Salted Peanut Butter Brownie, and Lemon and Vanilla Bean.
All were delectable in their own right but we have to admit our favorite was the Arabic Coffee and Pistachio. It was a wonderful mixture of homely ingredients, such as cardamom and pistachio, with just the right amount of chocolate.
