Allowing a form of literature to cross multiple mediums and become reestablished as exciting aesthetic art, Kuwaiti designer Farah Al-Eisa created a line of hand painted designs which have been based on one single and exciting premise.
The lettering design of Al-Eisa’s work is most captivating, inspired by a poem written by Nizar Qabbani. In the poem, the speaker discusses an enticing notebook which contained thousands of words. In this notebook, the words were all dancing together with each of them wearing a different color.
Al-Eisa drew inspiration from this very premise and began her artistic interpretation of the poem in an altogether new artistic environment, creating plates, dishes, fabrics, and a number of other unique and eye-catching items which have been decorated with colorful and exciting letter and color themed templates.
