We all have dreams of creating a concept that will change our world like that guy who owns Microsoft. Starting small is always the first step and as our parents, teachers, and college professors told us over and over again, you must learn to walk before you run.
With that being said, I introduce to you Startup Weekend, the one place where you can get all the facts on how to create, develop and launch a mobile app or website in a competitive environment. The event is free and open to everyone regardless if they have a technical background or not, plus it offers winners a chance to win up to KD 1000 in cash prizes.
This non-profit organization helps young individuals in achieving their dreams and creating more along the way and from February 6-8, Startup Weekend will be in Kuwait so if you’re wondering why this organization is such a huge hit in over 150 cities worldwide, all you have to do is register.
Participants registered will get the chance to share ideas with the professionals, get advice, develop their own concepts, and can even win cash prizes if their concept is judged well by the panel. What’s also great about the event is that it’s free and opened to the public. The goal is to create a website or a mobile app over the weekend and add a business idea to it.
