Dubai is about to make history yet again, on October 10, 2013 in collaboration with Vogue Italia, The Dubai Mall will be hosting 'Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience'. A night of fashion and glamour, 250 brands will be celebrating fashion with the night starting off with a fashion show by eight up and coming designers hand selected under the Vogue Italia guidelines. The designers include Razan Alazzouni, Lulwa Al Amin, Ituen Basi and Simone Rocha.
The Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience is aimed at not only showcasing the latest trends and bringing spotlight to the world's biggest mall but it is also working to raise funds for one of Dubai's most well-reputed charity organizations, Dubai Cares.
The Grand Atrium will be exhibiting 50 Vogue covers and there will be kisoks selling exclusive merchandise designed especially for the event. All proceeds from the sales will be going to Dubai Care, a charity initiative to improve the access of education to children in developing countries.
Fashion designers and celebrities are flying in to be a part of this historical event and the night will be filled with soirees and events organized by individual stores inside Dubai Mall. The night will close with a gala dinner hosted for fashion trendsetters, celebrities and other influential figures.
Mohamed Alabbar, Chairman of Emaar Properties said, " With the hosting of the Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience, Dubai is one again underlying its credentials as the regions fashion hub, led by the trend-setting showcase of high-end brands at The Dubai Mall."
The event has been closely collaborated with Franca Sozzani, Editor-in-Chief Vogue Italia and one of the world's fashion influencers. She will of course be back in Dubai for the event.
