O’de Rose, one of Dubai’s most popular and eclectic boutiques selling contemporary Arabesque style items recently hosted ‘Locals On Board’, an exclusive evening to showcase the work of Emirati artists. A total of 16 emerging and extremely talented young Emirati men and women participated in the event.

Each artist was given their own space within the villa to display their items that included homeware, clothing, jewelry and other accessories. Everything on display was modern but with a distinctly Arab touch. Participants included Latifa Al Shamsi, who is a renowned local blogger and is now designing exclusive t-shirts with fun local emblems; photographs of the UAE by Hamad Al Falasi; Burqa and Agal, a brand that uses the burqa motif to make accessories; and Neon Edge, a fashion label which showcased long kaftan style dresses.

Locals on Board is the right platform to encourage homegrown talent and connect them to a wide audience. For anyone who missed the event, the pop-up style booths will remain at O’de Rose for the rest of the month.

O’de Rose is located at 999 Al Wasl Road, Dubai, UAE
