Kuwait Music Academy, one of the few established academies of its kind in Kuwait, is opening in Al Dana Bilingual School in Salwa. With a professional staff from Chopin Academy in Warsaw, the academy has established high standard credentials. The school has amassed more than 100 students at the moment, and offers piano and vocal classes with a future plan to increase the types of instruments in order to form an orchestra.

Each year, the students have the opportunity to showcase their talents in the gala concerts and the annual Treasure of Talent festival. Treasure of Talents Music Education Program was established by prominent Polish pianists Anna & Cezary Owerkowicz and has been running since 1992. Many participants of ToT Program continued successful educations at some of the best universities and music academies in USA, UK, France, Canada and Poland.

Music provides a great exercise for the brain and the academy ensures that the students are provided with the best quality of musical education.

The official opening ceremony of the Kuwait Music Academy will take place on Friday November 30th 2012 at 11 am with a gala concert at 7:00 PM in Salwa Bilingual School. A whole day open-air music festival will be performed by the children of the academy with free entrance for the public.

The school is located in Salwa, Block 1, St. 100. For more information visit www.kuwaitma.com or call +965-66549009.
