Rare Stones is a collection of 18-carat gold cuff-links that feature unusual precious and semi-precious stones. What makes them different than other cuff-links is the fact that the cuff-link settings have been worked around the stones- rather than the other way around; to keep them as close as possible to their natural state.

The Rare Stones Collection doesn't just feature diamonds and other precious stones, but also amber, gold nuggets and even South Sea Baroque pearls. The criteria in selecting the “stones” are simple: the pieces have to be special whether it is related to the colour, the cut, the texture or the size. It is not just about choosing an IF (Internally Flawless) diamond, which can be obtained by contacting any respectable dealer, but more about coming across unusual “rough”, “nuggets”, “ballas”, and “octahedral” diamonds – some of them exactly in the state they are found in nature. It is also about stones with intricate cuts; or stones with vibrant colours, such as Paraiba, and extraordinary “accidents of nature”, like tourmaline encapsulated in rock crystal; or wasps caught in amber.
Since no two of the stones used are the same, and each cuff-link requires a different setting and design, all the cuff-links are therefore individually and specially prepared by master goldsmiths in Italy; making the creations from his "Rare Stones" line each an exclusive piece on it's own.
