For its 15th anniversary, the Baguette bag, created by Fendi's Creative Director of Accessories and Menswear Silvia Venturini Fendi, goes back through time. The Baguette bag was a fashionable hit right from the start. Requiring a long production time, the Fendi Baguette is exclusively handmade and is oh-so-very-precious and valuable with the fashion crowd.
Since its inception, the Baguette has ensured great demand worldwide from Fendi fans and fashionistas in general, and garnered an even longer waiting list due to its limited production capacity. Most popular models sometimes don’t even pass through the window displays since they are reserved well ahead of time by the most demanding clients who intercept them before their arrival.
A select number of shops across the world are celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Baguette bag with a series of Pop Up Stores kicking off at Colette in Paris, Maxfield in Los Angeles, and Dover Street Market in London and Tokyo. Intended to be more along the lines of temporary installations rather than boutiques, like playful pop-up books, they will delve the pages of the Baguette book and transform its contents into a tangible reality for a certain amount of time. These pop-up stores are a playful backdrop, through which the Baguette’s experimental personality comes to life featuring an underlying pop color theme which keeps the desire for the cult bag alive.
