On Tuesday night, Khaleejesque was invited to the DKNY Fashion Night at their Avenues' store in Kuwait. Personally, I'm a big fan of DKNY and their casual, stylish pieces, but I didn't know we had one (after it opened and closed back in the 90's)! So I was excited to go to the event to check out the store and see the collection.
I arrived just in time for the small competition where they asked the invitees some trivia questions about DKNY. The winner got a special prize from the store. I was too busy devouring a Napket watermelon frozen yogurt (divine!) so I only got one question right.
After the competition, we got to browse the store, chat with the friendly staff, and SHOP – all while being served the most delicious finger food courtesy of Napket.
As expected, the store did not disappoint. It's got everything from menswear, to womenswear to accessories. They even stock DKNY's Pure Collection, which has got great versatile pieces.
The talented Confashion styled a few of the mannequins, and she gets bonus points in my book for using the item I was eyeing the whole night: the cream shearling vest! I loved it!
