Service Hero is unique way of conducting an online service quality for a wide variety of service sectors such as health care, restaurants and mobile operators. It is “the only consumer powered assessment focusing on service quality in Kuwait”. Through the online votes, companies will be able to learn about their strengths and weaknesses and how they can compete with other competitors. What Service Hero assesses in companies is behavior, location, speed, quality, reliability, value, call center and website. “The Service Hero Index is an annual customer satisfaction index which rates individual service sectors as well as companies within each sector”. Winners of all 18 service categories will be announced and the top three country winners will be awarded. More than 400 brands were voted on in 2010 and they hope to increase their numbers in 2011.

Votes also provide an “overall country average” which can be compared on a global scale. The survey is carried out in a very unique way; the voting is done online which ensures fast, easy and high quality data. A Service Hero Facebook app is also developed so you can directly vote from Facebook. The service Hero assessment will take place between October 1 and November 30, 2011. All results will be available in January 2012. The online voting system used by Service Hero is developed by Khayal Consultants which has certain security measures that ensures the person voting is a resident of Kuwait aged 16 and over. Service Hero is a member of ESOMAR, the leading European organization on market research standards.
