One of the anticipated fashion events of the year is taking place right now at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The Costume institute Gala or 'Met Gala' has organized an exhibition 'Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty' which celebrates the late Alexander McQueen's extraordinary contributions to fashion. The exhibition includes one hundred ensembles and seventy accessories from Mr. McQueen's nineteen year career. Many famous celebs including Beyonce, Rihanna, Blake lively as well as famous fashion designers like Oscar de la Renta attended the opening. The exhibition is open from May 4 till August 7, 2011.
