Paying homage to the infamous starlet who was their inspiration for the collection, Dolce & Gabanna imprinted images of Marilyn over all the pieces and sent models down the Fall 2009 Runway donning whimsical and witty full-skirted dresses and bubble skirts adorned with images of the icon. The collection was all about cinched waists, over the top skirts, puffy shoulders, and outrageous feathers with a color combination of fuchsia, black, and silver dominating the palette.
