What exactly constitutes as entertainment nowadays? Concerts? TV Shows? Movies? While they surely are universal forms of entertainment, people often overlook the fact that small activities like gathering some friends over for lunch, or visiting a local gallery, can bring just as much excitement as high intensity ones.

When it comes to entertainment in the Gulf, it is not uncommon for us to hear (and even say) the customary phrase “It’s so boring. There’s nothing to do!” Unfortunately, this is one of the biggest misconceptions of the region.

In this issue, we interviewed one of the founders of Kout Bo6, the biggest online gaming network in the region, as well as Mohammed Saeed Hareb, creator of the popular animated cartoon series Freej.
