The first ever Women Power Summit in the Middle East and North Africa region will be held in Bahrain on Sunday, May 6th and on Monday, May 7th, 2018 at the Isa Cultural Centre.
The event has been organized by PR and design firm Obai and Hill and is being powered by Imtiaz for Her. The summit, which is set to be the largest gathering of women leaders in Bahrain and the MENA region, will be welcoming both female and male delegates.
Some of the speakers lined up for this year’s summit include Dr. Fatima Al Balooshi, Former Minister of Social Development as a keynote speaker, Amal Almoayyed, Executive Director, Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons, Deema Al-Haddad, Deputy Vice Chairman at AlHaddad Motors, Najla AlShirawi, CEO of SICO, and Hala Almoayyed, Vice Chairman at Almoayyed International Group, in addition to a diverse variety of women from all around the world.
The Women Power Summit is set to include panel discussions, seminars, workshops, and mentorship sessions. Side programs occurring as part of the summit activities include speed-networking, movie screening: “He Named Me Malala” and the Women Power Summit Run, which was already held on April 28th, 2018.
Over the course of the two days, the summit will bring together 500 attendees to share stories about their successes, failures, life lessons, and experiences. Attendees will get a chance to meet and network with other talented, inspiring, and like-minded women in the region.
