Qatari swimmer, Nada Arakji, who made history at the London 2012 Olympics by being one of the first female Olympians from Qatar, is making history once again. She will be participating in the 2016 Rio Olympic games as the first female athlete to represent Qatar in the Olympics twice.

As the daughter of the former Qatari national football team goalkeeper and Al-Sadd player, Mohamed Wafa Arakji, Nada was born into the sporting field.

Nada, 21, is one of only two women, down from four in London, who will be representing Qatar in Brazil this year.

During the Rio games, Nada will be competing in the 200m freestyle and 100m butterfly.
