Faye Sultan, most well known for being the first Kuwaiti female swimmer to compete at the 2012 London Summer Olympics. This year, however, Faye will not be competing under the Kuwaiti flag due to a ban set against Kuwait’s Olympic Committee from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), she will instead be competing under the Olympic flag for the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics.
Four years in training under her coach, Steve Custer, at the Lawrence Beach Club in Atlantic, NY. She seems to have gained a bigger amount of experience than the first time she competed to swim the 50 free back in 2012, raising her chances to gain a higher rank, and higher chances to win against other Olympic swimmers.
