Most of us, if not all, are fans of the silver screen. We've witnessed Oscar winning performances from so many legendary actors and actresses since we can remember. Some scenes are action ones, some are dramatic, and some are absolutely hilarious. From The Godfather to Forrest Gump, there are so many moments that could've made this list top 1000 but I've narrowed it down to 10. Enjoy and tell us what you think!

The Godfather – "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse."

Whether you've watched The Godfather or not, you must have come across this heart-stopping scene where Don Corleone promises to offer a film director to cast a friend of the Don and this scene is one of the many breathtaking scenes in The Godfather Trilogy.

Titanic – "I'm flying!"

We've all stood on the edge of our beds with a friend pretending to be 'Jack and Rose' from Titanic and if you've been on a yacht or boat lately, you must have tried it out. This scene is probably the most memorable scene in the movie other than the ending. The ladies might agree as well.

James Bond – "Bond, James Bond."

In every new and even more gadget-less James Bond flick, the scene most waited for has to be when he's at a very fancy casino/bar and a stunning woman from a country you can't pronounce and 007 introduces himself. We all must have introduced ourselves the same way at least one time. My favorite "Bond, James Bond" moment down below!

A Few Good Men – "You can't handle the truth!"

Anger and passion make this a classic moment in Hollywood. Featuring Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson, this has to be the best courtroom scene and again, something we'd want to yell whenever our mom asks us the truth about who broke the vase in the living room.

The Dark Knight – "Why so serious?"

My personal favorite from the list because the late great Heath Ledger's performances on his own made this move Oscar worthy (it took home two awards) and this quote will always be engraved along with other Hollywood greatness.

Star Wars Episode V – "No, I am your father."

The most remembered movie quote of all time? This is often misquoted as,"Luke, I am your father" which is totally wrong.

Forrest Gump – "Life is like a box of chocolates."

Possibly Tom Hanks' best performance after 'Castaway'. He won an Oscar for his memorable performances and every time you have a box of chocolates, you can't help but say the sincere quote.

E.T – On The Bike

One of our favourite childhood movies, E.T made us happy, tear up, and all want an alien for a friend. Steven Spielberg, well done.

The Avengers – Iron Man Falls From Sky

Undoubtedly, the most important superhero of Team Marvel played by one of the most influential actors of our time, Iron Man has so many incredible scenes in the Iron Man trilogy but this scene from The Avengers had us all clapping and cheering.

Rocky Philadelphia Steps

Da Da Daaaaaaa, Da Da Daaaaaaa. Oh sorry, I was pretending to be Rocky. Didn't we all want to be a boxer after watching the Rocky films? Or at least run on the famous steps in Philadelphia? A very paused moment with arguably the most famous movie song ever.
