As self-confessed shopping addicts we are constantly on the lookout for private sale events around the city. Recently we received an invitation that definitely had us curious; an invite to "The Boat Shop", a trunk show on a boat!
Anchored in a private area on Jumeirah Beach, signs guided us towards an impressively large white boat where we hopped on board and went straight to the upper deck.
Keen Bags, a new label that uses local materials to produce trendy totes was our first stop. Edgy designer Lady Mauve had brought her hard to resist funky handmade accessories including necklaces, rings and colorful bracelets. Clothes included perfect summer tops and dresses by Just Jules and children’s apparel by Jules and Juliette.
Freshly baked macaroons were being passed around along with other refreshments and snacks. Hosted by a group of dynamic and enterprising ladies we enjoyed the unique location and all the great shopping to kick off our summer!
