Chocol’art, the children’s charity and CSR initiative, will hold an event at the end of the month in Dubai to raise funds for Make-A-Wish UAE. Chocol’art is an innovative children’s charity and CSR initiative founded by Mohammed Fadlallah, Ali Hashemi and Alex Mir, where ‘chocolate meets art for a cause.’
The event will include artists, designers, fashion enthusiasts, photographers and other creatives in this exclusive event. The event will have an interactive experience where the creative participants and exhibitors are invited to create live original works to exhibit and auction off throughout the evening under the theme ‘Chocol’art At The Movies!’
“We are incredibly excited to be bringing an original, fun and engaging new CSR initiative to the UAE’s social scene and indeed across the region. Chocol’art is a unique, concept that we hope to build as a regional and global initiative. We will create a platform for the artistic community in each host city to embrace, participate and express their creativity with through our unique yearly themes,” commented Chocol’art event Founder, Mohammed Fadlallah.
Chocol’art aims to raise awareness and funding for children’s causes, with the goal of supporting 20 regional and international charities over the next 5 years. The first Chocol’art event took place in 2011 in Beirut, Lebanon at Mouawad Palace in aid of the Children’s Cancer Centre of Lebanon. Future Chocol’art events for 2012 are expected to take place in New York, Jordan, Oman and Qatar, among other places.

Chocol’art Dubai will take place on Friday 30th of March 2012 at The Towers Terrace, Jumeirah Emirates Towers. Tickets are 250 AED each with 100% of the proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish UAE foundation.
