The Art of the Trench photographs were enlarged and showcased on interactive digital screens which guests and onlookers could "Like". Guests and those who participated in the shoot wore some of Burberry's finest designs, among them the different variations of the trench coat.
"I am incredibly excited about our Art of the Trench India project that we’ve been working on. We have this incredible portfolio of portraits taken by Manou, the Indian streetstyle photographer, throughout Delhi and Mumbai of people wearing their iconic trench coats which we are thrilled to be showcasing both physically and digitally," said Bailey.
Art of the Trench India is a continuation of previous Art of the Trench projects that Burberry has worked on with other street style photographers including Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist. Launched in 2009, Artofthetrench.com is a digital platform that enables social networking within the site in an effort to celebrate the iconic Burberry trench coat. Users worldwide are even invited to submit their own photographs wearing the Burberry trench portraits and to be featured on the site.
