What?
In 2022, Sharjah Art Foundation are offering grants to artists working in a range of media, including sculpture, installation, time-based media, artist’s books and performance. A total of 200,000 USD is available in this application cycle. The submission deadline is 10 February 2022, and selections will be announced in March 2022.
Launched in 2009, the Production Programme broadens the possibilities for art production in the MENASA region by supporting innovation and excellence in artistic practice through the encouragement of experimentation and risk-taking.
Who?
Visual art proposals from artists, collectives and collaborative groups are welcome. These collaborations may be between visual artists and choreographers, composers, filmmakers, writers, curators, theorists or other professionals working in fields such as science or philosophy.
Please note that you should be able to free yourself from any commitments that could hinder the production of your project within the time allowed, should it be selected.
