What?
Dubai’s Bayt AlMamzar invites art critics and would-be art critics based in the UAE to apply for a month-long residency where they will be encouraged to experiment with form, and consider what an expanded field of Gulf-based art criticism might look like. Residents receive mentorship, editorial support, and a stipend. There is no production requirement or expectation of outcomes but support will be provided to residents who wish to produce public programs, exhibitions or develop a publication.
