Abu Dhabi International Book Fair was first launched in 1981 by the late Sheikh Zayed, the founding father of the UAE. Since then, each year the Fair has built on the Sheikh’s original vision: to create an event that encourages cultural and educational exchange, and provides a meeting point for the publishing world to do business.
