The Masder Institute of Science and Technology based in Abu Dhabi has gained an impressive first rank in the UAE for the 2016 annual ranking of Spring Nature Index, and the 20th in the Western Asian academic institutions.
Masder is a self-governing and research-driven graduate-level university institute that emphasizes advanced energies and technologies, it’s the only institute in UAE to receive a ranking from the Nature Index, which is a database based on research articles to be published in a group of 68 science journals on both national and regional levels.
The institute did not only receive a notable eighth ranking in the 2016 Nature Index but also in the ‘Academic Reputation’ category by the US News and World Report.
