Twenty-four artists from around the region got together again in Desert Designs Gallery in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, to present their work in front Saudi Arabia's art loving community. Fans of last year's event came back for a second taste of unique art, some even traveling in from other Gulf states to catch the event which was held from May 29th to June 7th, 2013.
The event, co-organized by NTI, a Saudi-based event planning firm, showcased various art forms including photography, graphic design, painting, illustration, and installations. Artists from all over the Gulf took part including Ali Cha’aban, Amina Al Abbasi, Aymen Zedani, Dalal AlShaikh, Ghada AlOsaimi, Hussein AlMohasen, Khalid Zahid, Mem, Mohammad Sharaf, Mona Kishta, Noorah Kareem, Omamah AlSadiq, Ramlaa AlHalal, Rze8aa, Sarah Taibah, Talal AlZeid, Yousif AlShafei, Yusuf AlAhmad, Zahar AlSayed, Abdulsalam AlAmri, Hattan Ahmed, Hythem AlDaham, Mansor AlSofi, and Marwah AlMugait.
Artworks on display were also available for purchase, giving new meaning to 'affordable art'; items like pillowcases, iPhone covers, and modern day furniture and accessories were available for shoppers.
After its successful debut event in 2012, and an even more successful one this year, we can guarantee that 2014 will witness an even "louder" exhibition.
