Looks like there is a new contender in the Kuwaiti fashion world, Shop 'n' Drop is the latest addition to Kuwait’s collection of fashion boutiques.
If you are on the look for the latest trends, this is the place to shop ladies. No more having to wait for your online shipment of retail therapy to come, or having to pay for excess luggage. With Shop 'n' Drop everything just became more convenient.
Recently opened in April, Shop 'n' Drop is the brainchild of May Al Essa, a young Kuwaiti who started her own boutique after experiencing the inconvenience of online shopping. She decided to bring her favorite American brands to Kuwait, so as to cater to the demands of customers like her, who appreciate fashion and would rather buy things off the rack then virtually.
Exclusively from New York and L.A., Shop 'n' Drop stocks brands such as Wild Fox T-shirts, Rachel Pally, Amanda Uprichard, Daughters of Revolution, Nightcap, Sretsis, House of Harlow by Nicole Richie, and Jen's Pirate Booty, which are worn by celebrities and splashed all over fashion magazines.
All the hot brands marketed in magazines that are ever so hard to reach are literally hanging on the racks of the store.
Shop 'n' Drop also offers local fashionistas a chance to customize their own flip flops by adding jewels and embellishments to them from the many different flashy colors available.
May believes that Shop 'n' Drop is a different approach when it comes to fashion retail, “my store has been designed in a way that makes it very cozy to make you feel like you are entering your walk-in closet not a store, also being far away from malls and in the city (Salhiya) makes it safe and easier to reach."
Shop 'n' Drop also incorporates a "fashion at your door step" approach by offering a home-delivery shopping service that makes shopping effortless. VIP customers get the privilege of having their clothes delivered to their homes with exclusive items being just available for Shop 'n' Drop VIPs. According to May, "my focus is on quality not quantity; I like my customers to be one of a kind."
Shop 'n' Drop definitely is one of a kind.
Shop 'n' Drop is located in Salhiya, Mohammed Thunayan Al-Ghanim Street, Store 6.
