Dubai based couture brand, Aiisha, is named after the founder herself, Aiisha Ramadan. She has the vision to create handmade garments to cosmopolitan women. Her latest AW collection incorporates light, feminine fabrics and strong, structured tailoring for elegant, wearable pieces.
We spoke to Aiisha to find out about the inspiration behind his latest Autumn/Winter collection:
What is the latest collection called?
Our Fall 2016 collection is called Senses.
How would you describe the collection?
It’s the perfect definition of Ready-Couture ranging from high end ready to wear all the way to couture. It’s the perfect essence of Aiisha. Everything is hand made yet accessible. Our collection, just like our brand, embraces diversity, women from all different walks of life will find their fit from this collection.
Which key materials are used in your AW collection?
We stay true to our DNA in all our collections by using Italian textiles ranging from stretch crepe, silks and guipures.
How have you used embellishments in this collection?
Of course, embellishment is a huge part of our heritage and identity.
