Art Dubai is the leading international art fair that is going to launch its eighth edition from 19-22 of March 2014 at Madinat Jumeirah. Art Dubai 2013, which welcomed 25,000 visitors, proved its success, the exhibition,which included various museums and galleries is now coming back again even stronger in its 2014 edition.
Art Dubai offers its visitors the opportunity to meet talented artists from all over the world, it features more than 85 galleries from 34 different countries, the contemporary halls in Art Dubai are not to be missed, it features young art spaces from across 30 countries. In addition to that, a new programme that is devoted to modern art, Art Dubai Modern, is being launched this year with a programme that will include eleven galleries presenting influential modern masters. Marker 2014 on the other hand is the title of Art Dubai’s curated thematic programme of emerging art spaces, Marker looks to Central Asia and the Caucasus, it is curated by the artists Slavs and Tatars.
Held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Art Dubai has created an art community over the last seven years and some of the artists selected for Art Dubai Projects 2014 include Nadia Ayari, Youmna Chlala, Clark House Initiative and many more.
