What do you get when you combine Sarah Al Dabbagh's event planning skills and Razan Alazzouni's whimsical dresses? A dreamy bridal editorial. The design duo from Saudi Arabia combined their passions to create a stunning visual story of a golden wedding complete with adorable flower girls and gilded accessories.
Sarah Al Dabbagh talks about the inspiration behind the editorial:
When I decided to plan my very first editorial, Saudi based designer Razan Alazzouni came to mind. Inspired by her latest collection full of gold embroidery, I immediately imagined an (All gold everything) theme. Gold leaf was the key word, I wanted to spray paint leaves, lots of them! I've always wanted to work on a gold wedding theme, but brides were always hesitant about the color, often choosing to go with whites or pastels; so this editorial was my chance, a dream come true. I chose to custom make chairs for this shoot, on one side i wanted to have a long bench to seat the 3 flower girls in their custom made Razan Alazzouni dresses, and on the other side, 3 gold chairs each with a different design to seat the bride and bridesmaids. For the table scape, I designed it to just go across the middle and cascade on both ends of the table to touch the floor, a golden statement.
