French mega luxury brand Louis Vuitton recently announced the appointment of Nicolas Ghesquière to replace Designer Marc Jacobs as Artistic Director of its women’s collections. One of today’s greatest and talented designers, Nicolas, who has headed the brand Balenciaga, is believed to bring a modern creative vision to the House’s women’s collections; thereby building on the values of refinement, savoir faire and extreme quality which are at the heart of the Louis Vuitton Maison since 1854.

According to the Nicolas Ghesquiere, "Louis Vuitton has always incarnated for me the symbol of ultimate luxury, innovation and exploration. Together we will build the future of the brand while preserving its precious heritage."

The first women’s collection created by Nicolas Ghesquière will be presented in Paris in March 2014.
